This weekend, we got to shoot two cuties, outside! Not only were they constantly on the move, but also, VERY independent. Lets just say they do not like getting pictures done together. lol. Hence the majority of single shots. Regardless of their abilities to go-go-go, we were able to catch some really cute moments! What little troopers- they put up with us for almost 1 full hour, and did not complain one bit—that’s what we call cooperative. 

Today, we had the pleasure of shooting Miss Makenzie—my cousins little angel. She’s 11 days old and, boy did she cooperate! It took some time to get her into a nice deep sleep, but once she was there, we were able to move her around from prop to prop for almost 2 hours! She slept the entire time! What a perfect little princess.

We’re a sister team, who absolutely love everything children. After having my daughter, and playing around with different styles of pictures, dressing her up for the occasion, doing pictures, editing pictures, etc., we have both truly found our passion—children photography! There is nothing more special about capturing a moment with a newborn, a 6 month old or a toddler, on film, and turning it into a beautiful picture memory. It is such an exciting feeling for us, to get to take these pictures and have amazing reactions, to be creative and fun with the pictures, and do something outside of the box.

We want to be different, we want to create a lasting impression, and most importantly we want to create some of the best pictures of your child, that you have ever seen.

We are focusing on the first 4 years of life, when they are growing more rapidly than ever, changing every day, learning every day, growing every day—those are the moments we want to capture. We will do newborn shoots up to 1 year, inside, with cute costumes, cute hats, cute poses. We will be creative and unique, we will capture the little things that everyone wants to remember about their children. Like what their perfect little toes looked like, or the perfect little fingers. What beautiful rose puckered lips they had, and simply how perfect they were just lying there, cuddled up, doing nothing but what they do best—SLEEP!

As children start getting older, going from crawling to walking, going from babies to toddlers, we like taking it outside! Doing on location shoots, where those fast little runners, and cute little jumpers, can be captured in a scenic, beautiful outdoor location—capturing true moments, fun moments.. moments kids love best. We have searched out some of the most beautiful, natural and simple locations in the Binbrook-Hamilton-Ancaster area, in order to create something different, and more fun! Who wants to go to Sears and throw there 2 or 3 year old child in front of a backdrop? What fun is that!? They are confined to smiling and moving a couple of inches back and forth in either direction. How is that capturing any kind of special moment?

We want to be different. We want to make an impact on your family photo album, and create memories, not just ‘pictures.’
